Can I restrict access to my team?

No, you aren't able to restrict access to your team - your created team is public to your organisation, including the team members and team photo.

Anyone from your organisation can join your created team if there’s a spot available when they select “Join a team” during registration, or if your team has spots available on the start date of the Move challenge, these spots may be filled up by colleagues that selected “Wait to be assigned”

How many people can join my team?

The minimum is 3 and the maximum is 6. View more information here: Team requirements

Please note, when the Move challenge starts, if your team has too few team members, your team may be disbanded and team members distributed to other teams with available spots.

Someone I don’t know has joined my team

All teams are public to your organisation. Anyone in your organisation who registers for the Move challenge and who select "Join a team” can see all the created teams in your organisation and can select to join it, if a place is available.

Likewise, if someone in your organisation who registers for the Move challenge and selects “Wait to be assigned”, they may be placed in your team if available spots remain on the start date.

I need to remove someone from my team

If someone needs to be removed from your team, please reach out to them using your internal communication tools like email and come to a mutual understanding as individual participants are the only ones who can remove themselves from a team. It’s important to know that they may have been automatically placed in your team because they selected “Wait to be assigned”.

I’ve left a team… what next?

If you’ve chosen to leave a team, you’ll be asked if you want to join an existing team (you can select a team with available spots) or you can create your own team or you can be automatically assigned to a team.

If you’ve left a team, choose your next team quickly, as after 24 hrs, you’ll be automatically assigned to a team if you haven’t done so yourself before.

I've selected "Wait to be assigned" - When will I get assigned to a team? 

If you’ve selected this option during Register for the Move Team Challenge , you’ll be automatically placed in a team with available spots. This will occur on the start date of your organisations' Move challenge.

Can I invite colleagues to join my team even if I was not the team creator?

Can I delete a team I've formed?

Can I delete a team I've formed?

Yes, you can delete your team before the Move Challenge starts and there is no other team member in your team. You cannot delete after the Move Challenge has started even if there is no other member.
