Does your device sync to Apple Health?
Apple Watch and some third party devices and Apps can sync activity data, including steps, to Apple Health App which then shares this information with third party Apps like Converge.
Apple Health is a data aggregator which receives, manages and distributes your activity data in a centralised App. The Health app distributes information to third party Apps on your device after you grant permission, which can be withdrawn or modified at anytime via the Health App.
